The Object of the Arkansas Postal Workers Union shall be to unite the Postal Workers of Arkansas in one common brotherhood; to improve the Social and Economic Advancement of the Members and their families; to work for the betterment and preservation of the United States Postal Service; to unite with the AFL-CIO for the advancement of the organized labor movement; to provide for the education of its members; to represent Members-At-Large in Employee-Labor Relations; to provide all members with the opportunity to serve as a State Officer or Delegate; to conduct the Business of the State APWU; and to strengthen the Solidarity between the Locals and the National Union.
